Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP)

Our maternity services are here for you and ensuring you have the opportunity to be involved in shaping future services is important to us.

A Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) is a team of people who provide feedback about their local maternity system. This includes maternity professionals (like midwives and doctors) and people with direct personal experience (such as women who have been pregnant, given birth and family members of those who have).

The Birmingham and Solihull Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership is led by those who use the service and currently has a group of service users, commissioners, community organisations and health professionals who all work together to review and contribute to the development of local maternity care in Birmingham and Solihull.

The MNVP are here to ensure that every woman and their family on a maternity pathway has a chance to have their voice heard about the care they are receiving or have recently received. As well as working directly with families, the MNVP also works with partner organisations and groups that support women and their families.

You can find out more about the Birmingham and Solihull MNVP on their website.

Within this information, we may use the terms "woman" and "women". However, we recognise that not only people who identify as women may want to access this content. Your care should be personalised, inclusive and sensitive to your needs, whatever your gender identity.
