Welcome to the Nutrition and Dietetic Department of University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB).
The Nutrition and Dietetic Department consists of Dietitians (registered under the Health and Care Professions Council) as well as support from Dietetic Assistants.
Dietitians work in close liaison with other health professionals including doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other therapists. Dietitians can translate scientific information about food and nutrition to practical advice. This advice can be provided to inpatients, outpatients, carers, hospital staff and the public.
