Neuroendocrine Tumour

A dietitian is available in the Neuroendocrine Tumour (NET) clinics and to see any NET patients admitted to the hospital.  

They provide advice and support regarding the diet and digestion of people with NETs. They aim to help people with NETs to manage their symptoms, optimise their strength and quality of life.

What to expect 

  • Nutritional assessment 
  • Anthropometric assessment e.g. measuring strength and muscle mass  
  • Advice regarding oral nutritional support e.g. dietary advice to support weight gain or avoid weight and muscle loss  
  • Advice regarding dietary manipulation, to manage specific symptoms or conditions 
  • Support with tube feeding, where appropriate and required  
  • Support with managing pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy 

Who we work with

The team works very closely with the Neuroendocrine Tumour team.  

How to be referred

Referrals are taken from the NET team including the doctors and nurses within the team.
