Our Children’s Outpatient departments offer appointments for children (0-18 years old) who are being cared for by many different teams within UHB.
We have outpatients clinics at Heartlands, Good Hope and Solihull Hospitals. We provide a wide range of appointments following a referral from a health care professional.
These children do not need to stay in hospital but come in for an appointment with a specialist doctor or nurse. The departments have private consulting rooms for you to see the doctor or nurse.
Some departments run their own outpatients clinics elsewhere in the hospital, these include ENT an Ophthalmology, please check your appointment letter carefully to see where your appointment is.
Please be advised all hospitals sites are very busy. We recommend that you allow additional time for parking if coming by car. Once on site, please report to main reception for directions to Children’s Outpatients.
Please come prepared as you will be asked the following information:
- child’s name
- child’s date of birth
- child’s full address
- up-to-date contact number
If your child has additional needs and needs extra support, please tell a member of staff.
If you need to talk about any part of your child’s care, please ask to speak to a nurse or doctor in the Outpatients team.
