The paediatrics team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) have a number of Specialist Nurses who support children, young people and their families with long-term and short-term conditions. Specialist Nurses visit assessment areas, inpatient wards and outpatient departments regularly to provide this support. Some of our specialist teams may also carry out home or community visits where appropriate.
If your child requires support from a specialist nurse this will be discussed with you, and contact information and details of the support will be provided.
