09:30 - 10:00: Welcome from Chief Executive Jonathan Brotherton, followed by a question-and-answer session with the Group Executive Team.

10:00 - 11:15: Keynote speaker Daniel Skermer founder of the PA Forum.  The PA Forum is a community for administrative professionals.

Applying for a vacancy can be a daunting process requiring the use of a variety of skills. In this session we will be looking at:

  • the application process
  • the supporting statement, explained
  • writing a supporting statement without using AI

 

Interview skills, 13:00 - 13:30

Interviews can be a very nervous experience and raise our anxiety.  In this session we will be looking at how to deal with nervousness.

  • using the comfort circle
  • different types of interviews
  • understanding the different types of questions asked at interviews
  • using STARR methodology
