Critical Care Area A (QEHB)

Staff are advised that Critical Care Area A (WCCA) at QEHB is a COVID-19 unit with restricted access.

Please avoid using WCCA as a cut through to and from the Admissions Lounge or from the main hospital corridor.

Temporary changes to Library Services

Library staff are working remotely and continue to be available to support staff with:

• Literature search requests
• Article requests
• OpenAthens and electronic resources including DynaMed
• Live online training in literature searching and eResources
• Inductions (online)

We understand that staff may find life more challenging to deal with at the moment and may want to talk to someone. Our team of experienced and qualified staff supporters are available to speak to and provide support and signposting.

The staff support telephone line is open from 07:00 – 23:00 and is open Monday to Sunday.
