Well-being and psychological support for reservists

Last updated: 11 October 2022 at 19:46

We know this may have been a very difficult time for many of you, and we hope you can soon settle back into your usual role.

You have supported, saved and changed the lives of so many people. It’s hard to describe how much we appreciate all your efforts.

Being redeployed during such a challenging, unsettling and upsetting time won’t have been easy. You will have experienced the delivery of healthcare that you may feel is not at the usual level.

You will have also felt the intense strain on yourself and your colleagues, who have all been working incredibly hard to make a difference.

We’ve made available details of the support available to you, if you need it. Please do take time to identify any help you may need.

This support is available to you whether you work for Birmingham Women’s and Children’s hospitals, the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, UHB, if you’re a GP, or you work elsewhere.

On behalf of the Trust, and all the staff and patients you have supported, thank you.

Reservist staff are able to access support from their own Trust as well as the UHB well-being offer:
