The Trust gives notice that voting in the elections to the Council of Governors of University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB), will start on Tuesday 2 June 2026.
Members who are eligible to vote will receive voting packs, including statements from each of the candidates, standing in the upcoming election.
One governor for each of the following public constituencies will be elected:
- Birmingham Central
- Birmingham East
- Birmingham North
- Birmingham South
- Birmingham Southeast
- Lichfield, Northwest and Northeast
- Solihull and Meriden
- Sutton Coldfield South
The term of office for each of the above seats will commence on 1 July 2026 and end on 30 June 2029*.
Two governors for the following public constituency will be elected:
- Rest of England and Wales
The term of office for each of the above seat will commence on 1 July 2026 and end on 30 June 2029*.
One governor for the following public constituency will be elected:
- Birmingham Reservoirs
The term of office for the above seat will commence on 1 July 2026 and end on 30 June 2027*.
One governor for the following staff constituency:
- Medical and Dental
The term of office for each of the above seat will commence on 1 July 2026 and end on 30 June 2028*.
The window to vote in this election closes at 17:00 on Thursday 25 June 2026. Results will be declared on Friday 26 June.
