Notice of election for the Council of Governors

The Trust gives notice that it will hold elections to the Council of Governors of University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.

Elections are to be held for the following number of Governors in accordance with the Trust’s Constitution.

Two Governors for each of the following Staff Constituencies:

  • Corporate and Support (2 x seats)
  • Nursing and Midwifery (2 x seats)

The term of office for each of the above seats will commence on 1 July 2022 and end on 30 June 2025.

One Governor for each of the following Staff Constituencies:

  • Clinical Professionals Allied to Health
  • Medical and Dental

The term of office for each of the above seats will commence on 1 July 2022 and end on 30 June 2025.

One Governor for the following Public Constituency:

  • Birmingham Reservoirs

The term of office for the above seat will commence on 1 July 2022 and end on 30 June 2024.

To be eligible to stand for election, individuals must be members of University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. If you are uncertain as to your eligibility to nominate yourself as a candidate or have any queries, please contact Sarah Snowden, Corporate Affairs and Governor Liaison Manager.
