Vicky MarshmentDeputy Director of Innovation

Vicky has worked at UHB since 2017, spending the first two years working with partners across the health and social care system delivering more integrated services for patients. In early 2020 she took up the post of Deputy Director of Innovation, with responsibility for further developing and embedding UHB’s approach to innovation.

Vicky’s background is in policy, strategy and planning. Before joining UHB, she was Director of Policy, Strategy and Communications at the Human Tissue Authority (HTA) the regulatory body for the use of tissues and cells, having held a variety of roles at the organisation in the previous eight years. She also spent two years as a strategy lead at the Financial Conduct Authority, the UK’s financial services regulator.
