Cancer Information and Support Service (CISS)

In collaboration with Macmillan Cancer Support, we deliver a dedicated cancer information and support service. We offer emotional, practical and financial support to our patients, carers, family members, and UHB staff involved in patient care.

Our service provides:

  • reliable, up-to-date information on all aspects of cancer, including diagnosis, treatment choices, living with and beyond cancer, and palliative care
  • confidential support from staff who will listen and help navigate your journey
  • signposting to local and national services, charities, and support groups
  • resources for staff who support cancer patients
