Health and wellbeing events support people to learn more about topics related to cancer. This free programme is open to anyone over the age of 16 with a cancer diagnosis. These safe and supportive sessions last for two and half hours. You are welcome to attend alone or bring a companion.
The events cover topics such as:
- coping with side effects of treatments like chemotherapy and radiotherapy
- benefits and financial advice
- keeping active
- fatigue management
- sleep
- nutrition
- psychological support
- introduction to palliative care
- support groups
