Sample and container requirements

CSF (plain polypropylene tube)

Minimum volume required

500 µL CSF per marker requested aliquotted into separate 2 mL polypropylene tubes

Special requirements

Unhaemolysed CSF MUST be collected in polypropylene tubes, centrifuged, separated and the supernatant frozen into 2ml polypropylene tubes on the same day as the LP. Samples must be transported frozen on dry ice and stored at -80oC prior to sending.
