The rheumatology department sees and treats people who have problems with their bones, muscles and joints.
Outpatient Clinics
We provide a mixture of telephone and face to face clinics.
Most rheumatology care is provided from Solihull Hospital outpatients and rheumatology day unit.
The rheumatology day unit is based on Ward 9 at Solihull Hospital. Patients with all types of rheumatic diseases are seen by specialists in this area. Blood tests (Phlebotomy), X-ray and scanning facilities are available within a short walk away.
The rheumatology team have close links with many specialists in the hospital and more widely throughout the West Midlands. Therapy services including physiotherapy and occupational therapy are available.
Day admissions
All day case infusion treatments are provided from the rheumatology Unit/Ward 9 at Solihull Hospital.
