The Youth Voice Council (YVC) at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) provides opportunities for youth voices to be heard in the development of our hospitals.
- Heartlands Hospital
 - Good Hope Hospital
 - Birmingham Chest Clinic
 - Solihull Hospital
 - Queen Elizabeth Hospital
 - Solihull Community Services

UHB’s youth voice champions will:
- support gathering feedback from patients aged 16-24 to enable UHB to make youth-informed improvements
 - provide opportunities for UHB to engage directly with young people in the improvement of services

The YVC meets every month. This will either be a visit to one of our hospitals, to engage with young patients aged 16-24, or to attend a meeting.
Youth voice champions will be asked for insights on patient experience by listening and showing compassion to patients. Champions will also co-produce, with UHB, on matters impacting patient experience or projects relating to service improvements/changes.
