Do you understand what’s important to the people in your local community who use NHS services in Birmingham and Solihull? Could you spare the time to pass this on and help us to improve our services?
If so, University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB) is looking for people to put themselves forward to become a governor.
UHB is the home of Good Hope Hospital, Heartlands Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and Solihull Hospital.
Being a governor an important role and one in which you can play a key part in supporting your local NHS.
If you’re interested in standing for election as a governor, you can put yourself forward from now until Friday 8 May.
We have 12 vacancies across 11 constituencies in this year’s election, including: Birmingham Central; Birmingham East; Birmingham North; Birmingham South; Birmingham Southeast; Birmingham Reservoirs; Lichfield, Northwest and Northeast; Solihull and Meriden; Sutton Coldfield South; Rest of England and Wales.
There is a vacancy for one governor for the following staff constituency: Medical and Dental.
