Cardiology is a branch of medicine that treats disorders of the heart as well as some parts of the circulatory system.

Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) is a regional centre providing cardiology treatment for Birmingham, the West Midlands and surrounding areas.

The cardiology research portfolio is one of the largest at QEHB and includes a wide range of commercial, academic, observational as well as complex interventional studies.

The Research team works closely with the wider multi-disciplinary Cardiology team to pioneer new and innovative treatments to patients with a wide range of cardiology conditions.

The team deliver patient focused, protocol driven, evidence based care.
