Fertility

Infertility is defined by WHO (World Health Organisation) as “a disease of the reproductive system defined by the failure to achieve a clinical pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sexual intercourse.”

You have been referred to the fertility unit because you have been trying to have a baby and have not yet been successful, or have successfully become pregnant and would have difficulty in conceiving again.

The department is spread across Good Hope Hospital (GHH) and Solihull Hospital (SH).
