Professor Sylvie Freeman, Clinical Senior Lecturer in Immunohaematology
She has developed one of largest clinical flow cytometry laboratories in UK providing a critical service for the diagnosis/monitoring of haematological disorders nationally as well as in the West Midlands. Specialist interest is myeloid malignancies.

Professor Peter Lane, Professor Clinical Immunology
Studied medicine at Edinburgh University. He is a clinical immunologist and sees patients with immunodeficiency, allergy and autoimmunity at UHB. He has served on the Grants review panel of Asthma UK, MRC and the Academy of Finland.

Dr Alex Richter, Clinical lecturer in Immunology
Qualified from the University of Birmingham in 1996. She is a clinical immunologist with a clinical, laboratory and research interest in secondary immunodeficiency. She also sees patients with complex allergy as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
